The bids were recently opened for the new Rescue 441. Coming in at $174,238 was E-One and Connecticut Fire Apparatus. The International chassis with extended cab, will feature a top mounted light tower, PTO generator and a "no walk" through box. The entire rear is dedicated for equipment storage.
The old Rescue 441 was purchased by the Granville, Massachusetts Fire Department for $6,311. That money will be used to purchase additional equipment for the new Rescue 441, such as hydraulic and air lines with electric reels. If all goes well, delivery is expected in December, around Christmas time.

Safety Committee Meeting 1999 Schedule
