Is that the new Rescue 441???

Look at what has finally arrived!! She's finally here, the new and improved Rescue 441. Looks sharp, handles well, and has tons of room. Weighing in at 35,000 lbs., this 1999 International Navistar with International Diesel features eight side roll-up compartments, one rear roll-up, and three rear overhead storage compartments running the length of the vehicle. Rescue 441 has a five-person cab, air-conditioning, four side mounted 500-watt lamps, and her main weapons system is her telescoping light tower featuring four - 1,000 watt high-power remotely controlled lights. Can ya hear Smokey now "Up Periscope!". The vehicle was equipped by Rescue Co. 441 and went into service on August 23. Stay tuned for her "Roll-Out - Wash Down" party sometime in September. A complete tour of Rescue 441 will be in the next issue 41 Repeater. And finally, good luck to Granville, MA Fire Department who purchased the old Rescue 441. Another fine piece of TVFD equipment headed to our friends in Massachusetts. Maybe they need a Squirt and a 75' Tower Ladder, too???
