Several members of TVFD turned out for Vernon's Annual Memorial Day Parade in remembrance of those who served and have gone before us. Let us not forget the true meaning of Memorial Day. "It is for them, not us, that we do this."

Look where the 41 Repeater is this quarter! Yes, the 41 Repeater is making it's way around to yet another strange place. Lifestar pilot Bob Dziezynski, takes a break on a recent RGH to Hartford Hospital emergency transfer to read a few relaxing pages from one of his favorite light reading sources, the 41 Repeater. Bob's been with the Lifestar program for about a year and loves the job. He has the best seat in the house! Bob also stays active with the National Guard and the 41 Repeater thanks him for being a good sport!

The new TVFD SCBA Workshop is open for business!! Chief Technician, Service Manager and Founder, 2nd Lt. George Males, at your service. George, with the help of Firefighter Jon Andresen, put a lot of hours into lighting, remodeling, and other time consuming details to bring us this new shop, which is getting better every week. This quarter, the 41 Repeater extends its "Well Done" Award to the SCBA Workshop. Nice job and keep up the great work, George!
