Day In The Park
Meet Jake. His owner is 1st Lt. Chris Hammick of ET141. Jake is a 9 month old Golden Retriever. Chris recently adopted him from a federal parole officer who was being transferred to San Diego. Jake is adjusting well to his new home and rumor has it he's being totally spoiled.
This year's Day in the Park is scheduled for Saturday, June 10, 2000. TVFD typically has a large display of fire department equipment and is a day long public relations event. See Scott Lent for details. Just a reminder, no freelance demonstrations without Executive Board approval.

Meet Klondike. His owner is 1st Lt. Stan Landry of Rescue 141. Klondike is a 10 week old Husky. Talk about cute! Word on the street is Rescue 141 will be requesting a sled in the next budget for trail rescues in the winter.
