Rt. 30 I/F/O Vernon Diner-November 4, 2000 - Rescue 141 and 441, ET141, ET241, both Vernon Ambulances, Rescue 541 and 641, ambulances from Ellington and Tolland, Rockville Medic and ASM Medics responded to the scene of an accident in front of Vernon Diner. Four teenagers were seriously injured -- two of the boys were flown by Life Star I and II to Hartford Hospital. An excellent job was done by everyone from extrication, down to patient care.

I84 East at Exit 64-65/February 2, 2001 - High speed and black ice are never a good combination. Unfortunately this combination contributed to this multi-vehicle/tractor trailer accident. The night was filled with chain reaction accidents. Manchester 8th District was initially called to the scene. Vernon was eventually toned to assist with injuries and scene protection. Well after Manchester cleared the scene, crews from Rescue 141, ET141 and ET341 remained on scene for several hours. One tractor trailer was lifted by a crane and placed on a flat-bed trailer to be removed from the highway.

Rt. 30 I/F/O Shops at 30-February 17, 2001 - Four adults were injured in this two car accident.  Two of the adults were flown by Life Star I and II to Hartford Hospital. The driver of the other vehicle sustained minor injuries, but refused treatment. Rescue 141, ET141, ET241, ET341, both Vernon Ambulances and the Rockville Medic responded to this call.
