History
The past Tower 141 was a 1972 Mack Aerialscope with a 75 foot boom. It was originally assigned as FDNY L131 out of Brooklyn, NY. This truck was a busy piece as it ran over ten thousand calls in somewhere around 10 or 11 years of service .

Firefighters from FDNY have told us that this trucks rear body was completely crushed by a brick wall that fell on it at the end of its service time. The truck was refurbished in 1984 by Baker equipment in Richmond Virginia with new body work, paint, and an engine rebuild .

The Town of Vernon Fire Department took delivery of this truck in the winter of 1984 and parted with it in the fall of 2003. With over 19 years of service T141 was the veteran of several structure fires and mutual aid calls.

At 31 years of age T141 was purchased by Scotland , CT and now serves as T 116.
