December 9th, 2005-Bolton Rd Structure Fire

At approximately 2330 Town of Vernon Fire Department  units were dispatched to a report of a structure fire on Deepwood Dr.  Shortly after this dispatch the Town of Vernon Fire Department received another report of a structure fire on Bolton Rd.  With the incident on Deepwood Dr. being controlled by the use of a fire extinguisher, units were diverted to Bolton Rd.  Upon arrival units found moderate fire in the front entry of the home.  Units were unable to gain access to the front of the home due to severe damage to the floor at the front entrance.  The fire was effectively extinguished and overhaul soon followed.  The fire was contained to one room of the home.
