December 10th, 2005-Prospect St. Structure Fire
Town of Vernon Fire Department units were dispatched to a report of smoke showing from a vacant home on Prospect St. Upon arrival C-41 activated a 2nd alarm for Stations 1, 2, and 3 due to the construction of the building. Downtown Rockville has an abundance of balloon frame construction homes making a simple basement fire something difficult to control.
