March 20th, 2007-Old Town Road Structure Fire

On Tuesday March 20th, 2007 Town of Vernon Fire Department units were dispatched to a reported clothes dryer fire.  Upon arrival units reported fire from the roof.  Units on scene included E-441, ET-441, T-541, T-141, R-141, ET-341, ET-541, ET-141, ET-241, S-341, R-541, and R-641.  Mutual aid was brought into the scene from the Tolland Fire Department and the Ellington Fire Department.  Manchester 8th Utilities and other surrounding towns provided station coverage until units were put back into service.
