August 17th, 2001-Rt. 83 I/F/O Dunkin' Donuts

Another one of many lower Route 83 rush hour traffic accidents occurred at the Dunkin' Donuts drive-thru exit.  This one was a little more serious than most but no one was seriously injured.  You could classify it as a good pin job and a huge traffic nightmare.  No surprises here.  Same excuse every day. "I was pulling out of the drive thru and the guy in the curb lane was stopped and was waving me out.  So I turned and SLAM....a lady in the outside lane that I didn't see and didn't know the guy was waving me out...hit me!"  Moral of the story....If a friendly driver waves you out into traffic...wave back and say "no thanks"....or you own it.
